Mabel and Zora
748 NW 11th Ave Portland, OR 97209
While wandering through NW Portland on a wet and dreary day, Mabel and Zora brings just the right amount of retail therapy for a quick escape from under the umbrella. From maxi dresses to flowing tanks and shoes to bracelets, the cheery colors and soft fabrics left me aching for summer but hopeful for sunshine. They offer designs from Tiffany Bean, Bailey 44, Nic + Zoe, Trina Turk, Lilly Pulitzer, and various others. The sales staff was alert and willing to help, but not pushy and let me wander at my leisure. It’s definitely a stop worth adding to any trip through the Pearl District.

Odessa
410 SW 13th Ave Portland, OR 97205
This calm, smaller sized shop is a perfect retreat from the ever-busy streets of downtown Portland. The staff was so sweet and helpful without being overbearing and allowed to me wander the racks with the knowledge that any questions I had would be met with genuine pleasantry. If you’re searching for a fashionable stop without losing that Portland-feel, Odessa is definitely a must.

Radish Underground
414 SW 10th Ave Portland, OR 97205
This store could have pulled me in with their branding alone. With clothing for both men and women, it’s a great place to bring your best guy friend so he can wander and his leisure and doesn’t get stuck holding your purse. If you want style that shows your Portland-native appeal, this shop one that cannot be passed by. Wandering the racks, you’ll find Radish’s unique taste of flair without stepping too far outside the box. With sections bursting of local and handmade items, it is a challenge to not fall hard for this store.

Parallel
1016 SW Washington St Portland, OR 97205
With more designers than I can list, Parallel is a must stop in SW Portland. If a new top or skinnies aren’t what you’re after, they have plenty of accessories to temp your pocketbook. The staff is super helpful in answering questions and appears unendingly knowledgeable about their products. They offer a great selection with competitive pricing and after the first visit, you’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Say Say Boutique

SaySay Boutique
1010 SW Morrison St Portland, OR 97205
Another great find for that Portland feel without losing luster with over-crowded screen print t’s. A bit easier on the budget than some big name stores, you’ll find yourself falling for an armful of items that you just can’t go home without. The staff is great at helping locate specific styles, but also allows for the more self-directed shopper. If you haven’t checked out this shop before, you’ll soon be adding it to your list of Portland must’s.
